How to wear in your Archies Flip Flops and SlidesUpdated 6 months ago

Like all new shoes, our flip flops and slides have a wearing-in period before they feel super comfortable.

The material of our footwear is designed to soften and mould to the shape of your feet to give you a customized fit.

Some customers find them comfy right away and others need time to wear them in.

You have 60 days to try them out and wear them. If after that period they don't work for you, simply pay the return postage cost and we'll refund you for your original order.

Follow these tips to wear in your first pair of Archies Flip Flops or Slides

Archies Flip Flops

#1 Check the fit

Archies Flip Flops should "fit like a glove" with very little space in front of your toes and behind the heels. This will help align the arch support with your arch.

#2 Stretch the toe poles and straps

#3 Wear them for 20 minutes at a time for the first few days

As you wear them, they will become more comfortable. If the arch is uncomfy at first, only wear them for 20 minutes. This will give the footbed time to mold to your feet and will also give your feet time to get used to the feel of the arch support with minimal discomfort.

Archies Slides

#1 Check the fit

Archies slides also have a more snug fit than most slides so that the arch is correctly aligned with your arch.

#2 Stretch the band

If the band is too tight - put the slides in the sun for a few minutes to warm up and stretch the band. You might need to stretch the band every time before your wear them because the material is strong!

Pull the band up and away from your toes

#3 Wear them for 20 minutes at a time for the first few days

As you wear them, they will become more comfortable. If the arch is uncomfortable at first, only wear them for 20 minutes. This will give the footbed time to mould to your feet and will also give your feet time to get used to the feel of the arch support with minimal discomfort.

Putting them in the sun to warm up and then standing on them will help soften the footbed.
